In this study, the change in the load-bearing system cost of a reinforced concrete office building has been investigated in relation to the earthquake regions and soil types. Three different office projects each with five stories were investigated. The structural design calculations have been made according to four different soil types and four different earthquake regions. According to each combination, concrete, steel and formwork adopted approximations were calculated to reach the rough cost of each office building. The changes in the cost of projects according to the soil type and earthquake region were examined with multiple regression analysis and analysis of variance. In general, the change in cost has been observed around 22% between first and fourth soil type and 14% between first and fourth earthquake region.  相似文献

Working media based forming processes show advantages compared to the conventional deep drawing in the range of sheet metal parts with complex geometry details. By High Pressure Sheet Metal Forming (HBU), complex parts can be formed with reduced tool costs, fewer process steps, and improved part properties, particularly by the use of high strength steels. In order to use these advantages to full capacity, the material flow into the area of the geometry details needs to be optimised. The key element for the material flow control is a multi‐point blank holder. In combination with flange draw‐in sensors, a closed loop flange draw‐in control can be built up which guarantees a reproducible material flow and, consequently, defined part properties. Furthermore, a favourable pre‐distribution of sheet metal material can be reached which leads to a widening of the process limits. Considering a large area sheet metal part with a complex door handle element as example, strategies for the material flow control will be discussed in this paper. The conclusions are based on FE‐simulations as well as experimental findings.  相似文献

Analog circuit designers have usually focused on the design of circuits employing a minimum number of components, occupying less area and dissipating less power. However, some important issues such as signal limitations and especially stability problems of the analog circuits have not received considerable attention in the literature. Hence, the work described in this paper deals with the stability problems of two new current-mode analog filters employing multiple output current controlled conveyors (MOCCCIIs). Toward that end, a single pole model is replaced for each non-ideal current gain of the MOCCCIIs. Both of the novel universal current-mode active-C filters can simultaneously realize low-pass, band-pass and high-pass/notch filter responses. SPICE and MATLAB simulation results are given to verify the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

The Republic of Turkey has initiated an ambitious reform program in the most important segments of her energy market; which requires privatization, liberalization as well as a radical restructuring of these industries. However, there is no consensus that the measures introduced are optimal. The present article attempts, first, to evaluate the regulatory framework created by the laws of 2001 in terms of economic efficiency considerations; and second, to determine what still needs to be done to improve the current situation. The paper not only provides an analysis of these reforms but also lists some policy suggestions. The study concludes that despite relatively good legislative framework, in practice, the reforms in Turkey are far from ideal as they are mainly in the form of “textbook reforms”; and therefore a significant amount of work still lies ahead of Turkey to set up a fully fledged energy market.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate environmental lead exposure in the general Taiwanese population. A total of 8828 Taiwanese adults selected by a multistage sampling method were investigated. Characteristics of the participants were ascertained by questionnaire and 10 ml venous blood was drawn by public health nurses. The blood specimens were distributed to six laboratories for blood lead level (BLL) measurement. A quality control program was applied during the analysis of the BLLs in order to improve precision and accuracy. The arithmetic mean BLL of the 8828 Taiwanese adults was 7.70 +/- 5.23 micrograms/dl, with a maximal level of 69.1 micrograms/dl. The median was 6.5 micrograms/dl and the 90th percentile was 14.0 micrograms/dl. After logarithmic transformation, the geometric mean was 1.84 +/- 0.67 microgram/dl. This study also found that elevated BLLs were associated with certain personal characteristics, i.e., gender, ethnic group, and education level; life-style factors, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, Chinese herbal drug consumption, milk consumption, and sources of drinking water; residential location, i.e., level of urbanization; and occupational history of lead exposure. However, age, floor level of residence, distance from house to road, and betel nut consumption were not associated with elevated BLLs. These results showed that BLLs in the Taiwanese population were not higher than those in developed and developing countries. Most of the influencing factors were also found in other studies; however, local factors such as ethnic group, Chinese herbal drug consumption, and sources of drinking water are important considerations in Taiwan when examining ways to prevent overexposure to lead in the general population.  相似文献

Some properties such as hardness and fracture toughness of boride formed on the 99.97 wt% pure iron were investigated. Boronizing was carried out in a solid medium, consisting of Ekabor powders of 5% B4C as donor, 5% KBF4 as an activator and 90% SiC as diluent at 800 °C for 2, 4 and 8 h. The dominant phase formed on the substrate was found to be Fe2B that had a finger-like shape morphology. The hardness of boride on the 99.97% pure iron was over 1700HVN, while the hardness of pure iron was about 130HVN. It was found that the fracture toughness of boride formed on surfaces of 99.97% pure iron, depending on the process time, ranged from 3.59 to 3.83 MPa m1/2. Depending on process time and temperature, the depth of the boride layer ranges from 22 to 43 μm, leading to a diffusion-controlled process.  相似文献

In this study, total contents of phenolic, flavanol and flavonol, antioxidant activities and antimicrobial activities of the Turkish endemic Salvia pisidica Boiss. & Heldr. ex Bentham (Lamiaceae) extract and essential oil were assessed in vitro. Total phenolic, flavanol and flavonol contents in the extract were 54.57 mg gallic acid equivalents (GAE)/g, 16.70 mg catechine equivalents (CE)/g and 18.19 mg rutin equivalents (RE)/g, respectively. Antioxidant activities (IC50 value) of the extract and essential oil were determined as 4.88 and 6.41 mg/mL by DPPH assay, respectively. 31 compounds were determined in the essential oil using GC-MS and the major compounds (%) were camphor (23.76), sabinol (19.2), α-thujone (14.2) and eucalyptol (1.8-cineole) (5.8).The antimicrobial activity of the methanolic extract and the essential oil against 13 bacterial and two yeast strains was determined. The extract (concentration 5 g/100 ml or 10 g/100 ml) was effective against most of the strains tested, yet not against Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, Aeromonas hydrophila and the two yeast strains tested. The essential oil (2 g/100 ml) showed an antimicrobial effect against all the gram (+) bacteria tested, against Saccharomyces cerevisiae, but was not effective against all gram (−) bacteria and Candida albicans. These results show that S.piscidica essential oil and extract could be considered as a natural alternative to traditional food preservatives and be used to enhance food safety and shelf life.  相似文献

In this paper, five novel and minimum number count floating inductor simulators (FIs) are proposed. Three of the presented FIs depending on the passive component choice can provide parallel R–L, (–R)–(–L) and series R–L, (–R)–(–L) from the same configuration while other two provide one of parallel R–L or series R–L. Some of the introduced positive lossy inductor simulators employ a grounded capacitor; accordingly, they are convenient for integrated circuit (IC) implementation. So as to exhibit the performance of the proposed structures, computer simulations based on SPICE program are given.  相似文献

In this paper, a number of simulated floating inductors (FIs) employing second-generation current conveyor (CCII), current-feedback operational amplifier (CFOA), differential voltage current conveyor (DVCC) and differential difference current conveyor (DDCC) are proposed. They employ only a grounded capacitor; accordingly, they are suitable for integrated circuit (IC) implementation. Some of the developed FI simulators demonstrate the feature of improved low-frequency performance while the other ones suffer from the Z/Y terminal parasitic resistors bringing extra series resistors to the inductances of the simulated FIs. Two novel methods for reducing/eliminating the unwanted series resistance in equivalent inductances of the FIs are developed, one of which is called the direct design technique accomplished by adjusting the resistive component/components of the FIs. The series resistors of the FIs affecting their low-frequency performance can be canceled by adding floating negative resistors in series, which is another method. Three of the presented FIs as examples are chosen in order to verify the developed method, perform their simulations and show their performance.  相似文献
